O pa\u00eds registou, entre 2015 e 2025, uma redu\u00e7\u00e3o significativa no consumo anual de combust\u00edveis f\u00f3sseis, passando de mil 364 milh\u00f5es para 430 milh\u00f5es de litros por ano, o que corresponde uma diminui\u00e7\u00e3o superior a 930 milh\u00f5es de litros, anunciou, esta quinta-feira (17), a Empresa P\u00fablica de Produ\u00e7\u00e3o de Electricidade (PRODEL).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Em nota que o Jornal de Angola teve acesso, a PRODEL sublinha que \u201ceste marco representa um avan\u00e7o not\u00e1vel na transi\u00e7\u00e3o energ\u00e9tica do pa\u00eds, impulsionado pelos investimentos estrat\u00e9gicos do Governo em fontes de energia limpas e renov\u00e1veis, com especial enfoque no refor\u00e7o do Sistema El\u00e9ctrico Nacional\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

O comunicado acrescenta, ainda, que a a expans\u00e3o da capacidade de produ\u00e7\u00e3o renov\u00e1vel incluiu iniciativas de grande impacto, como a entrada em opera\u00e7\u00e3o da Central de Cambambe (2016), os Aproveitamentos Hidroel\u00e9ctricos de La\u00faca e Tchiumbwe-Dala (2017), a interliga\u00e7\u00e3o dos Sistemas Norte e Centro (2019), e a implementa\u00e7\u00e3o de novas centrais solares em v\u00e1rias prov\u00edncias do pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Actualmente, avan\u00e7a a nota, o pa\u00eds conta com 73 centrais em funcionamento, sendo que 91 por cento da energia consumida tem origem em fontes renov\u00e1veis, cujo progresso fortalece a seguran\u00e7a energ\u00e9tica nacional, reduz a depend\u00eancia de combust\u00edveis f\u00f3sseis e reafirma o compromisso do pa\u00eds com a sustentabilidade e a protec\u00e7\u00e3o ambiental.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
